• Returning Student Verification for 2024-2025 Opens April 1

The Returning Student Verification process is intended for our current students and students who have previously attended EMS ISD schools - this includes students who have previously withdrawn and are now returning to the district.

2024-2025 Returning Student Verification for students who will attend next school year opens April 1, 2024. Parents whose children have left and are returning to the district will need to recover their Family Access account to complete the verification process.

For students who have left and are now returning, before having access to a Returning Student Verification process, parents will first have to contact the school to notify them of their child’s return to the district. The school will then contact the parent within 72 hours of enrollment (3 days) to allow the parent access to the verification process in Family Access.

Log into Family Access and select the appropriate link available for the school year your child will be returning. Verification for the current school year will display in red text, while verification for next school year will display in green text.

  • For Students Who Previously Attended EMS ISD and are Now Returning

For students returning for the 2023-24 school year, be certain to select the 2023-2024 Returning Student Verification tab. Colors have been added to assist you with distinguishing which option to choose when registration is open for current and future school years.

Red coloring is for the current school year, and Green coloring is for future year or next year registration (and will only display in the Spring when the district opens the process up for the future school year). In addition to the tab, students returning for the future school year will also see a link available to verify data located on the Family Access wall with optional forms available under the Online Forms tab.

NOTE: You must complete Returning Student Verification for each student re-enrolling in EMS ISD.

For step-by-step instructions on this process, please download this guide.

NOTE: If a student lives with someone other than a parent, additional notarized paperwork is required each school year. The Cohabitation Affidavit form is available as an optional form for new registrants during the application process or available under Online Forms in Family Access for existing or returning students. The form must be printed from home and notarized if you choose to complete it online. If you have questions about which form is needed, call your home campus or the Technology Help Desk at 817-232-0880.
